Garrett McCaffety is the Director of Specialty MEP Engineering for KMB Design Group, a leading nationally licensed engineering firm. Garrett is passionate about solving complex building and energy problems with collaborative teams, technical tools, and creative critical thinking. He is a professionally licensed Mechanical Engineer with diverse engineering, management, and business backgrounds gathered from 15 plus years of professional experience across the country. Past projects have included net-zero affordable housing, energy efficient multifamily housing, LEED certified commercial buildings, remote off-grid resorts and cabins, and energy modeling for various institutions including NRDC, DOB, and DOE.
Dale Garfield, a Senior HVAC Engineer at EUA, boasts over 15 years of professional experience, underpinned by a strong foundation forged during his service in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer and Range Coach from June 2001 to July 2005. His educational journey includes earning an Associate's of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Mid-State Technical College and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Architectural Engineering, specializing in Building Mechanical Systems, from Milwaukee School of Engineering. As a professionally licensed Mechanical Engineer, Dale is renowned for his adeptness in addressing intricate HVAC challenges through collaborative teamwork, technical expertise, and innovative thinking.
Ryan Whitted is a Mechanical Project Engineer at IMEG. He has been with IMEG for 10 years and is experienced primarily in mechanical engineering designs for higher education and K-12 school facilities, but also has experience in commercial, hospitality, and residential facilities. He has worked on a variety of different systems ranging from typical packaged rooftop VAV systems to more complex systems like geothermal heat pump, displacement ventilation, and direct-indirect evaporative cooling. He received his undergarduate degree from the University of Tennessee and his graduate degree from the University of Colorado.
