Integrate cove.tool into Your Computational Design Process

Computational Design with cove.tool

The use of a computational design approach enables professionals working in the AEC to rapidly automate complex solutions and explore a larger range of design alternatives for optimized project delivery. This 60-minute session will outline the key differences between parametric and generative design and highlight how synergetic collaboration between designers and automated building performance tools can be utilized within parametric design processes, that in turn increase efficiency and reduce costs.

About the Speaker

Twisha is a Computational Designer with the research team at cove.tool. The focus of her design and research is trifold - Design Computation, Sustainability, and User Experience as they relate to the AEC industry. She strives to integrate smart workflows for designers by automating monotonous design workflows to make them more efficient and sustainable, which is exactly what she gets to work on at cove.tool. She recently graduated with a masters in Advanced Architectural Design from Carnegie Mellon University. She is also a licensed architect in India. She believes that if every design decision is data-backed, designers will inherently work towards fighting climate change. Technology is the way forward!
