cove.tool can be used for a wide array of projects, including sustainability-focused residential building projects. In this 30-minute session, we talk about the energy consumption of residential buildings and how energy modeling differs between homes and commercial buildings. We also cover ways to optimize occupant health, comfort, and wellbeing in homes using baseline energy/water in analysis.tool.

About the Speaker

Daniel Salinas is a passion-driven and eco-conscious Research Mechanical Engineer at cove.tool and has been with the company since October 2021. He holds a B.S. Architectural Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Architecture. Daniel is involved with the development of loadmodeling.tool, expanding covetool’s mechanical & residential resources, conducting building performance research, and supporting users of the platform. He strives for his efforts to have a measurable impact in the fight against climate change and in the way that people live and work in buildings.
