Course Description:

This session will explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on architecture, focusing on how AI-powered tools like Vitras.ai can optimize various aspects of architectural practice. From cost estimating to climate analysis, LEED reporting, embodied carbon calculations, and 2030 DDx reporting, AI provides architects with unprecedented capabilities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and environmental responsibility. Attendees will gain insights into the practical applications of AI in their workflows, supported by real-world case studies and demonstrations.

Learning Objectives:

They will understand the importance of climate analysis in sustainable architecture and how AI enhances this process. They will see how AI tools can assist in achieving and documenting LEED certification requirements and facilitate accurate and efficient 2030 DDx reporting for performance tracking and compliance.

  3. Understanding Embodied Carbon Calculations Using AI: Participants will gain an understanding of embodied carbon and its significance in reducing the environmental impact of buildings. They will also learn strategies for effectively communicating embodied carbon findings to key stakeholders.

About the Speaker:

Yashwanth Munukoti is an architecture researcher at cove.tool. He holds a Master of Science in Architecture Technologies from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. At cove.tool, he works on the research, design, and development of features, as well as supporting users and developing resources to support sustainable design and analysis.

Yash is an Architectural and Creative Technologist with a research specialization in machine learning driven platform development. His professional interests are focused on product design and innovation and mindful extension of design technologies.
