Gauge Cost and Market Conditions for Q1 and Q2 of 2022
The goal of this report is to determine the current and projected national construction market conditions that may affect the cost of upcoming building construction projects. Through virtual interviews and surveys, we asked architects, consultants, contractors, and owners about how the current market condition has impacted their work and ability to deliver projects – particularly high-performance projects. Additionally, we asked each participant to share their outlook on the market for the next 6-18 months and their prospects for sustainability in the building industry.
Based on the opinions of those surveyed and the research of other sources, it is believed the market conditions as outlined will cover a period of 12 months from the date of this report.
